How to build a forum?

I have a topic in mind on which i%26#039;d like to build a forum, could anybody give me any idea as to where to start? ie. where best to register for a domain name, where to find a good template for a forum etc. Thanks a lot!

You can really find anywhere to register a domain name. Godaddy.com isn%26#039;t a bad place to start. If you%26#039;re familiar with programming, particularly in php, then you try using phpbb (PHP bulletin board) found here http://www.phpbb.com/. It%26#039;s a prefab forum sites that very easily customizable. Enjoy!!

Then go to the MyBB themes repository and download the existing themes or create one for yourself.
